How Naples Laser & Skin Aesthetics Weight Loss Program Works

Tirzepatide is a naturally occurring peptide molecule that modulates insulin and also slowed stomach emptying.  It can give a sense of fullness, decreasing the desire and appetite to eat.  It ha been approved by the FDA for diabetes and wight loss and has been marketed by pharmaceutical companies for over. You will have monthly office visits for weigh in, increasing dosage of tirzepatide injections (as tolerated to achieve therapeutic dose).

Once stable on consistent dose, monthly office visits while self-administering Tirzepatide at home.

Dosing requires titration over each month.  Patients start with a low dose.  This is injected weekly.  The dose is then increased monthly if the patient is not experiencing excessive side effects of slow gastric emptying - nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, bloating, heartburn.  Patients can use this dosing regimen if they want, however not everyone responds to the low-dose and not everyone needs maximal dose.

During your monthly visit, you will have a weigh-in, answer a few simple questions to determine optimal tirzepatide dose for the week.

Once you’re on a stable regimen, in one to three months, you will transition to the Monthly Maintenance Program.  You will continue to inject weekly at home and office visits will be once a month.  Long term therapy may be desired by some.  Others may want to discontinue once they have reached their target weight  and have been stable for 3 months or more.

During the program, educational efforts will hopefully lead to behavioral changes regarding eating habits.  This is necessary to avoid regaining the weight once stopping the tirzepatide therapy.  There is one absolute guarantee in this program, and that is if you eat the way you ate prior to the program, you will gain the weight back - out goal is to get the weight off and keep it off.
